All commercial fire alarm systems are designed, installed and commissioned to BS 5839-1, the current British Standard for fire detection and alarm systems in non-domestic premises. Residential systems follow BS 5839-6 where applicable.

Cost depends on building size, the category of system required (L1–L5 or M) and whether the property already has usable cabling. Most small-business installs fall between £1,500 and £6,000. We provide a free site survey and a fixed written quote before any work begins.

All three. Conventional panels suit smaller premises, addressable panels are recommended for larger or multi-zone buildings, and wireless systems are ideal for listed buildings or sites where cabling is impractical.

Most domestic and small commercial installs are completed within 1–3 days of the site survey. Larger commercial projects are scheduled to suit your operational hours, including evenings and weekends.

Yes. Every install includes a signed BS 5839 commissioning certificate, as-fitted drawings and a system logbook — everything insurers and the Responsible Person need under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
